About Dr. Susan Braun

Susan Braun is an energetic entrepreneur, who is committed to providing the highest levels of care and service in aesthetic medicine. For five years she worked as a Registered Nurse in the operating room at Vancouver General Hospital. Having decided to further her education, she then graduated from UBC in the Faculty of Dentistry in 1986. For the next 10 years she built her solo dental practice. With her strong entrepreneurial instincts and finely tuned sense of timing, Susan Braun stopped practising dentistry and turned her attention to laser hair removal, a brand new cosmetic treatment. In June 1996, the Brauns opened Vancouver Laser and Skin Care Centre, the first clinic for laser hair removal in Canada!

Capitalizing on her extensive knowledge base and skill sets she performs most of the filler injections at the clinic as well as a few other treatments. Susan Braun’s full time involvement also means that she continues to direct all of the administration, marketing, and business development of the practice. Together with her husband, Dr. Martin Braun, she hosts workshops for doctors who are interested in learning about Botox and also how to inject fillers.

With her unique perspective and experience from a clinical and management consultant standpoint, Susan Braun educates physicians on patient experience and the concierge way of doing medical aesthetic business. At the physician workshops she demonstrates her expertise and the art of filler injections and offers tips and techniques for improving a medical office’s structure, efficiency and profits. Susan Braun also recommends strategies for entering and remaining competitive in the continually evolving cosmetic rejuvenation world. As a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, with her strong commitment to achieving excellence, she continually inspires staff, patients and other doctors.
